Leading in-vehicle video telematics provider VisionTrack took home three awards at last night’s BusinessCar and BusinessCar Techies Awards (30th October), lifting the ‘Safety’, ‘Best Telematics Product’ and ‘Fleet Supplier of the Year’ trophies.
Held at the Hilton London Tower Bridge, the awards ‘recognise the fleets, suppliers and manufacturers that demonstrate outstanding customer service and innovative products’. These awards continue a successful year for VisionTrack after the company was also recognised at the Insurance Times Tech & Innovation Awards and Commercial Insurance Awards.
VisionTrack has developed its technology to become even more flexible, help prevent incidents, further cut insurance premiums for fleets and speed up the FNOL process. It launched a white-label and gateway solution for customers already using a telematics provider who want to add video. It introduced cameras with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features which can identify lane departure, forward collisions, tailgating and vulnerable pedestrians or cyclists, while the in-vehicle monitor can recognise if a driver is tired or distracted by actions such as mobile phone use, smoking and eating.
Simon Marsh, VisionTrack’s Managing Director, commented: “We’re delighted to have been recognised with these awards, which take our total to sixteen. It’s a fitting tribute to our team who work so hard.
“We work closely with the fleet industry to offer a high quality and innovative telematics solution that we know sets us apart from the competition. We work in partnership with fleets to help reduce premiums and incidents, detect fraudulent and exaggerated claims and cut disputed claims rates – something we’re immensely proud of. ”
