Leading in-vehicle video telematics provider, VisionTrack celebrated its eighth award last night (13th September) after lifting the ‘Best Use of Data – Auto Finance’ trophy at the International Asset Finance Network Awards in London.
VisionTrack, part of Markerstudy Group of Companies, has already made waves in the insurtech industry, now with around 14,000 connected devices across the UK. The solution combines next generation cameras with telematics which connect to a bespoke state of the art cloud-based IoT platform in real-time.
Aimed at the fleet sector, they help guard against exaggerated or fraudulent claims, prevent incidents, improve driving standards and cut premiums. The company’s latest product is a camera featuring ADAS technology, which can detect driver fatigue and mobile phone use at the wheel.
Simon Marsh, VisionTrack’s Managing Director, commented: “In the two and a half years we’ve been running, we’ve been incredibly successful, and it’s fantastic our achievements have been recognised by an International Asset Finance Network Award. It makes me incredibly proud of my team and what they do every day.
“We count around 25% of the top large fleets in the UK as customers and our IoT platform is used by some of the world’s largest telematics companies as a gateway platform into their user interface. Good video telematics is changing the insurance landscape and the technology we have available to us is continually being improved – I’m so excited to see where we can go in the next 12 months.”
