VisionTrack was a winner at the recent UK Fleet Champions Awards 2020, organised by road safety charity Brake. The company received the Dr Will Murray Award for Analysis and Action, which recognises the introduction of procedures for risk assessments and data analysis that enable tailored safety interventions to be taken. VisionTrack was also highly commended in the Fleet Safety Innovation category.
The judges were particularly impressed by how VisionTrack’s technology uses Computer Vision to collect, process and analyse real-time video data, as well as providing drivers with live critical safety alerts. In 2019, the company processed and categorised more than 500 million mile of journey data, and by identifying, analysing and taking meaningful interventions its software has enabled fleets to make significant road safety improvements and ultimately save lives.
The Fleet Champions Awards celebrate the success and commitment of those working to prevent crashes and reduce pollution caused by vehicles used for work purposes. The winners were revealed at a virtual awards ceremony during Road Safety Week, the UK’s biggest road safety event, coordinated annually by Brake.
Richard Lane, Commercial Director of VisionTrack commented: “We are using the latest cutting-edge technologies to deliver advanced video telematics that is helping to reduce road risk and collisions involving fleet vehicles. As a business we are passionate about improving road safety, so we are proud to have received this prestigious award from Brake. This is now the 22nd award we have won in less than three years, which is fantastic recognition for all the hard-work everyone has put into to our ongoing success.”
