VISIONTRACK SCOOPS 2023 NATIONAL INSURANCE AWARD

VisionTrack, the leading provider of AI video telematics and connected vehicle data, had a successful night at the National Insurance Awards for the second year running. The company picked up the Innovative Product Award – Motor for its AI-powered post-analysis solution, NARA (Notification, Analysis and Risk Assessment), which is transforming how vehicle camera footage is assessed and collisions are detected.

NARA represents a huge step forward for video telematics as it uses ground-breaking computer vision models with sensor fusion to assess footage of driving events, near misses and collisions. The device agnostic, cloud-based software proactively removes false positives and monitors driver behaviour, without the need for human involvement, so the review process is manageable and timely.

The winners of the National Insurance Awards were announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. Hosted by comedian, writer, and actress Suzi Ruffell and attended by 500 industry professionals, the event showcased the very best in general insurance provision and management, with companies and teams celebrated across 29 categories.

VisionTrack’s President of Global Sales, Richard Kent, collected the award and commented: “The NARA software is a true game changer in the world of video telematics as it is helping to save time, costs and most importantly lives, by providing proactive risk intervention and accurate incident validation. It is enabling fleets and their insurance partners to take complete control, minimise claims costs and assist drivers in need.”

Simon Marsh, CEO of VisionTrack said: “We are delighted to receive our second National Insurance Award, which is fantastic recognition for our industry-leading technology solutions. Huge congratulations must go to our team, who are continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible to keep us at the forefront of video telematics, Insurtech, IoT and AI.”
