VisionTrack has been recognised by the Company Car Today Innovation Awards for the launch of Autonomise.ai. The company’s next-generation, IoT platform scooped the risk management category based on its clever use of artificial intelligence (AI) and learning from real-world events that is helping to improve road safety and prevent collisions before they happen. VisionTrack was also highly commended in the telematics category.
The Company Car Today Innovation Awards were launched this year to recognise those that are providing the most advanced solutions to fleets, helping them to work smarter, more cost effectively and efficiently, and greener. The winners, split across ten categories, were decided by an expert panel with over a century of combined fleet experience. This included Paul Hollick, Chairman of The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP); Julie Summerell, Managing Director of TR Fleet; and former fleet manager and consultant Nigel Trotman.
“VisionTrack is using technology in a clever way that is very beneficial to fleets,” said Company Car Today Editor Paul Barker. “Risk management is an area that cannot be allowed to slide as other forces compete for a fleet operator’s attention, and the data and analysis approach helps focus attention on where it is required, and makes VisionTrack very worthy of a Company Car Today Innovation Award.”
Autonomise.ai leverages extensive real-world events and information using world-leading algorithms, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver concise, actionable insights that help fleets to respond to key scenarios and reduce risk. For example, vehicle data from Autonomise.ai provided invaluable insight into driving habits during the first lockdown, providing fleets with the information to act on and improve safety.
Simon Marsh, Chief Executive Officer at VisionTrack commented: “This latest accolade follows six industry awards in 2020 and more than 20 over the past three years, which all recognise the success and innovation we are achieving. We continually strive to use the latest technologies to break boundaries and meet the changing needs of the fleet marketplace. This is made possible by the commitment of our fantastic team, who are working hard to keep us at the forefront of the video telematics sector.”
