Leading in-vehicle video telematics provider VisionTrack was recognised with a fifth accolade last night (8th March), lifting the ‘Technology of the Year’ trophy at the Commercial Insurance Awards 2018.
Held at the prestigious Millennium Hotel in Mayfair, London the awards showcase excellence within commercial insurance and reward companies that have provided innovative solutions to industry challenges, having delivered significant benefits to drivers, fleets and insurers.
VisionTrack is part of Markerstudy Group of Companies. It has created a single cost-effective alternative to the separate telematics and cameras on the market, with next generation cameras which connect in real-time to its own bespoke, state of the art cloud-based Internet of Things platform. The solution protects all parties by providing improving driving standards and helps to prevent incidents, reducing fraudulent claims and cutting insurance premiums – one fleet with around 60 vehicles saved £19,000.
The business also recently launched a next generation 4G camera solution, an even more competitively-priced device, which provides data on how close a vehicle is being driven to others (ADAS), driver fatigue and even monitors mobile phone usage .
